A BRITISH champion kickboxer is appealing for the return of his title belt after it was stolen from the back of his car in a Barry street.
Julian Konten, aged 33, from Cardiff, had parked his car outside his girlfriend's house on George Street.
Sometime between 7pm on Thursday, December 29 and 1.30pm on Friday, December 30, two kit bags were stolen from the back seat of the car and the boot.
One bag contained the belt Julian had been awarded when he was declared British ISAKO champion at 65kg in October.
Julian, a dad-of-two and a trainee teacher, said: "I've only had the title for a few months, and I really want the belt back. I don't care about the other stuff.
"What is strange is that the CD player and Rayban sunglasses were left behind in the car."
The belt is described as red and silver and has ISAKO Champion emblazoned on its front.
