Barry FC return to league duties

BARRY FC return to Vale League duties this weekend when they travel to Rhoose to take on the high-flyers who have so far lost only once this season.

With the Linnets having played less than half of their fixtures, there is still much to play for.

Although talk of promotion may have already receded, League leaders Master Mariner are tantalisingly only 10 points ahead of Barry who lie in sixth place.

A win over Rhoose on Saturday will not be easy but it would certainly set up an exciting second half of the season.

For Barry FC though, it s more important that the club finishes as strongly as possible in its inaugural season and sets a benchmark for following years.

The Club has performed very well of late including back-to-back League victories over Cadoxton Imps, and wins over Dinas Powys (twice) and SP Construction.

These teams are below Barry in the League, and now it s time for the Linnets to start harrying those clubs above them.
