Duncan joins the custom-made fan-club!

PROFESSIONAL at Brynhill Golf club, Duncan Prior, has had his eyes opened to the benefit of having golf clubs made to his exact requirements.

Duncan, somewhat of a sceptic before, was impressed by the improvement in his performance with his bespoke clubs - in fact he was so impressed that he attended a course in the art of club-making.

Duncan's clubs (and those of his assistant Ryan James) were made by John Griffiths, a professional club-maker with many years experience, who has now become part of Duncan's team.

Benefits of having custom-made clubs include having the correct grip thickness, which can help cure slicing and hooking, or the correct loft and lie to ensure that the golfer's energy goes into the ball, not in the ground.

And most important is having the shaft match your swing speed, as frequency matching plays a critical role in the evaluation.
