Festive upset for Lewis

AN EIGHT-year-old boy has been left heartbroken after his Christmas present from Santa was taken from a supermarket trolley - just hours after he received it.

Father Christmas gave little Lewis Wall a cover for his beloved Gameboy on Sunday morning.

But later that day it disappeared after Lewis unwittingly left it in a supermarket trolley.

Mum Amanda, of Claude Road, Barry, said: "On Sunday afternoon we went shopping to Morrisons and Lewis put the Gameboy and its new cover in the trolley. But he forgot about it and we drove off without it."

"We returned just minutes later but it had gone."

Amanda added: "It's so sad. Lewis was over the moon when he received the Gameboy cover, as it was exactly what he wanted.

"He even ran up and down the aisles in Morrisons asking people if they had seen it.

"But what makes it worse, is that the Gameboy contained a cartridge with 138 games on it which Lewis had saved up to buy himself."
