JAMIE'SLEGACY£40,000 reasons to remember

CONGRATULATIONS to the people of Barry who have pulled together and raised a staggering £40,000 for the Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund - in just nine months!

When Paul and Nicola Adamson set up the fund in February with the Barry and District News, in memory of their five-year-old son Jamie who lost his fight against leukaemia in 2003, they only expected to raise around £10,000 by this stage.

But thanks to raffles, donations, runs, sponsored events, and the sale of wristbands, that figure has quadrupled.

It"s a fitting way to remember Jamie - whose birthday was Christmas Day.
