BARRY Comprehensive pupil Curtis Fowler has gone from strength to strength in his chosen sport of badminton, winning three silver medal trophies in the Dublin Open Championship Badminton Tournament.
In addition to his own medal in the singles, Curtis and his partner Robert John took silver in the doubles and Curtis and his mixed doubles partner Louise Breen also took silver medals.
Although Curtis was in Dublin competing for four days, all three final matches took place in a single day.
Curtis was up for the challenge displaying great confidence in his own abilities and those of his partners.
After the finals, Curtis also took part in two Wales v Ireland friendly matches and won both of them!
Three silvers might satisfy some competitors but Curtis is ambitious and is definitely going for gold next year.
