ALL GOOD wishes go to Jason and his team of elite fighters who are currently in Niagara Falls, Canada, participating in the WKA World Championships.
The championships run from Monday, October 31 to Thursday, November 17.
Jason and his fighters regularly travel around the world for various championships. Last year Jason and four of his students were in Corfu for the WPKA World Championships 2004, and every fighter came home with a medal, collecting a total of seven medals and two world titles.
Then it was off to Scotland for the European Championships, and to Ireland for the Irish Open.
Lloyd Deere travelled to Cyprus in May for the WPKA World Championships 2005 and came back with two world titles, a silver and a bronze.
The team is also hoping to enter the US Open in Florida, next July, and also the 2006 WKA World Championships in Spain.
JASON and his team of fighters travelled to Worcester on October 16, for the WUMA National Championships.
Louis Deere fought in the -125 novice semi-contact category and did well to take second place.
In the -125 advanced semi-contact and light contact, Jason Viscount took third place in both.
Fighting in his first ever tournament was Mitchel McCafferty who did extremely well in the -135 novice category, but was unlucky this time.
Lloyd Deere fought in the -135 advanced semi-contact and light contact categories, and was also unfortunate.
Aysha Clarke fought in the girls -145 novice semi and light categories and came second in the light contact section.
Jordan Williams, Johnathan and Jamie Viscount all took part in the -145 advanced category, with Jordan taking second place and Johnathan third.
Johnathan and Jamie fought in the light contact with Jamie taking second and Johnathan coming first.
Stephanie Wingren fought in the girls -155 novice semi-contact and light contact where she took second place.
Josh Griffiths fought in the -1565 semi-contact and came first.
Matthew Herbert and Lewis Gould competed in the -165 semi-contact with Matthew taking first place and Lewis second. Lewis also took part in the light contact.
Coach Jason completed a great day when he took first place in both semi-contact and light contact categories, and he would like to say well done to all his fighters!
