THE wedding of Nicola Reynolds and Russell Sargent may not have been the most conventional of affairs - but it was certainly seasonal.
For the bride and groom said their vows at Barry Civic Offices on Saturday dressed in masquerade ball costume and as the Phantom of the Opera.
And the ceremony was witnessed by a congregation of witches, ghouls, devils, pumpkins, werewolvesand Batman.
Nicola, aged 37, from Rhoose Point, said: "People thought we were crazy when we told them, but I always wanted a Hallowe'en wedding.
"And when Russell and I decided to get married just two weeks before the wedding, I just thought why not!"
Nicola and Russell's wedding party ventured to the Old College pub after the service for a Hallowe'en-themed reception.
Pub manager Chris Evans said: "When Nicola booked the reception here, and we found out the theme of her wedding, we just had to carry that on.
