BARRY College students of all ages celebrated their A-level and AS-level results.
Aged from 17 to 75 years, the students received excellent results and now have plans for their futures including further study and university.
Ivor Arnold, aged 75, from Barry was delighted to receive an A in AS Law.
"I came to College for mental recreation," he explained.
"It gives me something to do and keeps my mind active. I live just round the corner so its easy to get to as well."
Ivor already has an array of qualifications including two degrees - one in Maths and one in Education.
He also has many hobbies, including concert singing, and recommends education to everyone.
"I think most people would enjoy College," he said.
"I'm a firm believer in keeping the mind active and staying mentally alert. I've met a lot of people on my course, people of all ages.
"I'm amazed at how well everyone mixes and gets on, we all help each other on the course."
Arnold is now returning to College in September to study A2 Law.
Also celebrating an outstanding set of results was Rebecca Rietdyke, aged 19, from Barry.
"I had an A in Biology, an A in Law and a C in Maths," she said.
"I'm really pleased with these grades. Now I've got the results I need to go to Manchester University to study Optometry.
"I can't wait. I've thoroughly enjoyed College and it's been a good step before going away to Uni."
Jamie Tophi, aged 19, from Barry, studied A-level Law at College and two other A-levels at school.
"I've just received my result and I had a B in Law which I'm really happy with," he said.
"I'm going to University to study Law or History now. College has been great for me because it's local and has been a great way to meet new people. I'm over the moon today."
Best friends Carrie-Ann Mills, aged 18, and Llywela Watt, aged 18, celebrated Cs in Sociology and Law. Carrie-Ann from Rhoose is now preparing for a career in nursing.
"I'm going to Swansea or Wolverhampton to study nursing in October, and I can't wait," she said.
Llywela, from Barry, is returning to Barry College to gain more qualifications before she goes to Luton University.
"I'm coming back to College in September to study Anatomy and Physiology and Body Massage. I'll be going to Luton University next year to study Sports Therapy."
Other students celebrating included Monika Jones, aged 58, and Jeff Heenan-Davies, aged 53. Both received an A in Art and Design.
