Nippers prove to be club winners

THE time has come once again for all Surf Lifesaving Clubs to put their winter training to the test.

The first Carnival of the year was a new date on the calendar, held by the Mumbles Club at Caswell Bay in the Gower.

An absolutely beautiful venue was complemented by a very well organised carnival and the weather was kind, which is always a bonus. Rhoose had a very good day with a large number of Nippers going home "jangling" with medals.

Although Rhoose is one of the smallest clubs competing they still managed a respectable fourth, a big compliment to all the Nippers involved. Well done, everyone.
