Open gates

PLEASE can anyone explain the logic of closing gates in the above park - to any park - but leaving the main gate, off the main road and close to the beach, open?

The message is clear - "come in, stay as long as you like, do whatever you like and never mind anyone else."

In the beginning, police and "social" people were present (why?) but I cannot think they are still there after several months.

We are doing our young people a great disservice by our ineffective attitude - don"t we care?

And for those young people who do not want to be associated with these anti-social groups - don"t go where they are!
