IN response to your article regarding car parking problems at Park Crescent and Gaen Street (May 19).

I would like to point that Gaen Street is not the only street affected by parking problems.

I have lived along Park Cresent for a number of years and have the same problem, but with parents of children going to Romilly School. Residents of the adjoining streets - ie Lewis Street, Gaen Street, Kathleen Street - have all made complaints over the years with regards to the excessive and sometimes dangerous parking at this time.

We have had several visits from traffic wardens and the police, but I think this needs to be a regular occurrence before a child gets injured.

If you live in a busy built up area you will always have a problem with parking outside your own home.

Unless you buy a private permit, there"s not a lot you can do.
