CAN someone please tell me where bus drivers hone their driving skills?

Is it the Michael Shumacher school of advanced motoring?

I ask because I am currently using their services, my Mercedes having reached 252,000 miles and being on its way to the crematorium.

I am amazed by the speed with which these single deckers negotiate road humps, corners, and the slalom which is Holton Road.

I laid bets with myself when I would witness my first passenger fatality or serious injury. Insurers please note.

Recently, a female bus driver imitated her male counterparts (I have the bus number, route number, time and date) and had to brake severely causing two elderly passengers to cascade down the bus; one narrowly avoided plunging head first, shopping et al through the windscreen and onto Broad Street.

Oh and don"t pay to go to the funfair; the same fun can be had by sitting on the rear seat of any of these buses as they buck like rodeo broncos over the Barry speed humps.
