I WOULD like to thank everyone who put their trust in me, and voted Liberal Democrat on May 5.

Election night proved to be highly successful for the Lib Dems in the UK and Wales in particular, where, following the successes in Cardiff Central and Ceridigion, we became the second largest Welsh party at Westminster.

I'm committed to the Vale of Glamorgan, and will continue to work hard for the community over the coming months and years with my colleagues from the Lib Dems.
