Captain looks to bring success

AT the start of a fresh golf season Brynhill's new captains look forward to challenging but successful times in the coming months.

As usual there is a very full fixture list and there is no shortage of social events.

Phil Lee, a local Barry boy, has been a member of Brynhill for more years than he can remember.

Before joining the Golf Club, he played rugby for Barry and went on to captain BP Plastics. Phil is an IT specialist and is a member of the very successful Wayfarers team. He takes over from his good friend Phil Edwards.

Annie Baxter takes over as Captain of The Ladies Section from Helena Coombes. Annie hails from the Forrest of Dean originally but has lived in South Wales for 36 years.
