Packing them in

YOUNGSTERS from Barry Comprehensive School were busy at the Morrisons store on the Waterfront this week.

Their sponsored bag pack was a fund-raiser, with all the money they collected from shoppers going towards the Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund.

The fund was set up by the Barry and District News along with the Adamson family, who lost Jamie to leukaemia at the tender age of five.

Barry Comprehensive is backing the fund by adopting it as their charity for the year.

How you can help out

HERE"S how Barry and District News readers can help.

If you"re part of a school, club, organisation or group of some sort, you could hold a fundraiser.

Our campaign is running throughout 2005, so there"ll be plenty of opportunities to help.

If you want to hold a fundraiser, let us know by ringing 01446 704981 - and we"ll tell you how you can go about donating funds.

You can send cheques, made payable to the Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund, to the Barry and District News, 156 Holton Road, Barry CF63 4TY.

Whichever way you can support us, please do - and together we can help other children like Jamie.
