Home Sales

SHOULD people of pensionable age be allowed to sell their own private homes at current market values, pocket the money and then be in line for accommodation with the council on the Homes-4-U scheme?

Because this is what is happening in a number of cases.

The less fortunate, like myself, who live in a basement bedsit and would like a modest flat, are left wondering "Just who are the needy and who are the greedy?"

Perhaps the council should means-test these private home owners.
