Path poser

WHEN will the footpath around Nell's Point be re-opened?

When it was closed as a temporary measure to allow building work to be carried out, it was only supposed to be for a few weeks.

But now a new closure notice has gone up with no date for the path's re-opening, and stating that the public should now use Clements Colley walk as an alternative way around the point.

But at high tide to join the path at Jackson's Bay you would have to wade through the sea to reach it.

Is this path going to end up the same way as Pencoedtre Lane, which was temporarily closed to vehicular traffic to enable building work to be carried out at Pencoedtre and never re-opened?

I have not seen any notification required under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for the Stopping Up of Highways for the permanent closure to vehicular traffic of this lane.
