Memorial

OVER the last three years, I and other readers of the News have written to complain about the deteriorating state of the Merchant Navy Memorial in front of the Civic Offices.

We were promised by the council that remedial works would be undertaken, but we are still waiting.

This procrastination is an insult to the brave men listed and their relatives.
