FONTYGARY Flippers held a pyjama swim in aid of comic relief.
Their home pool, the newly-refurbished Fontygary Bay Park, echoed with shrieks of laughter as all the club members for this one night only were allowed to train in their pyjamas.
However, training seemed to take a back seat to fun and games as some of the younger members found it very entertaining just trying to keep their pyjamas on in the water!
Newly-appointed Development Officer Jacquie Latter filled the night with a number of highly amusing events, as she led the younger swimmers around the pool in a follow the leader game, also occasionally struggling to keep her pyjamas in place.
Even more amusing for the onlookers would have been when the older swimmers turned up for training, as during their activities they insisted on passing their coach from squad to squad around the pool with the promise that she would not get wet! Soaking, drenched, and soggy sprang to mind...
All the swimmers joined in the spirit of the occasion and had great fun along the way. Well done Fontygary Flippers.
