Police seek driver

OFFICERS from Barry CID want to trace and speak with a taxi driver who collected a fare of two women and a man from outside Bar Risa, Cardiff, in the early hours of Thursday, March 17.

They travelled to a cashpoint at Cardiff Wales Airport in an attempt to obtain money for the fare, but were unsuccessful and returned to Barry, where they took cash from a point at Tesco, Stirling Road.

It is alleged that the taxi driver sexually assaulted one of the passengers. The driver is described as male, Asian, early 30s to 40 years old and clean shaven. He spoke broken English with an accent.

Anyone who has any information can contact Barry CID on 01446 731606, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
