THE Welsh Academy of Martial Arts, which also represents Team Wales, took part in the recent World United Martial Arts Championships with outstanding results.
Thomas Harris, aged seven, took first place in the Points section, beating his team mate Jamie Rasis in the final with a kick to the head for two points to seal the match.
Gafain Hill, aged eight, met his uncle Jamie Rasis in the quarter final and lost by two points. Gafain is just a yellow belt and has great potential as a student and fighter.
Anthony Brown, aged 11, a white belt, took third place in the Light Continuous, and is another beginner with great potential.
Christopher Brown, aged 13, was outstanding and took second places in both Points and Light Continuous sections.
Sonny Richardson took first place in the Points section and first place in the Light Contact, another outstanding result for Sonny who has only just returned to training.
Gareth Davies travelled from London to take part, and took first place in the Light Contact.
This was a great result for both Team Wales and the Welsh Academy of Martial Arts where the boys train.
