Fund is set up to honour brave boy

LITTLE Jamie Adamson died when he was just five years old.

The brave Barry youngster had fought leukaemia for two years, but on January 20, 2004, he died at Llandough Hospital.

Together with Jamie's parents Paul and Nicola, and his big brother Sam, we have set up the Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund.

We want to remember Jamie by raising money in his memory, which will be donated to LATCH - the Llandough children's charity, and Children With Leukaemia - a national charity based at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Jamie's dad, Paul, and his friend, Ceri Binding, are running the London Marathon to kickstart the campaign. Fundraising efforts will then continue throughout 2005.

And we are asking our readers, the people of Barry and the Vale, to help us raise funds.
