Great Club

A PLEA from a lifelong supporter of Barry Town AFC.

How can one person, with a great deal of help from the greedy Vale Council, destroy a once-great club? A club that in the past has brought great credit to the town.

Any team, however good or bad, bearing the name of Barry Town has to play at Jenner Park.

I suggest the Vale Council look again at the price they want to charge for Jenner Park.

Other teams playing on council grounds with similar facilities are paying under £200 per game, not the £42,000 per year.

As for Stuart Lovering, you say that you always wanted to own a football club, but a football club is not merely a collection of property.

It is made up of tradition, supporters and a heart, and the heart of Barry Town is Jenner Park.

Please get something sorted out before you kill forever a once great club.
