Attendance

I FEEL I must put the record straight after Cllr Barry Shaw's appalling letter printed recently in the Barry & District in which he attacked some of my colleagues for not attending a scrutiny meeting, for which they are not members. I was at that meeting along with four other Labour councillors.

May I just point out to Cllr Shaw that at a recent vital housing meeting none of the eight Plaid Cymru Councillors bothered to even turn up or give apologies - if he bothered to check the attendance record of any of the other political parties!

Cllr Shaw will soon learn to do some research on the facts before he hastily starts throwing accusations. Remember people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
