New captain on club's greens

NEW CAPTAIN: Margaret Coulthard, new ladies' captain starts her year with a drive in

DINAS Powys Golf Club's new ladies' captain, Marg-aret Coulthard, started off her year with a drive-in on November 23. This was preceded by the fourth Turkey Trot contest. The winner was Mrs A Mahenthiraling-ham with 20 points (on back 6), from Mrs P Hanmer 20 points and Mrs Z Graham and Mrs S Smith with 20 points. The fifth Turkey Trot competition was won by Sian Smith 48-18=30. Runner-up was Pat Burfitt 47-14.5=32.5.
