Cerys and Daniel swim for Wales

TWO members of the Barry Beavers Disabled Swimming Club swam for Wales at Sale in Manchester.

They achieved the honour of representing their country by winning gold medals at a regional gala.

Taking part in the national finals were teams from Yorkshire, Kent, Surrey and Greater London, in addition to Wales.

Cerys Rees swam in the Girls 25m event and won a bronze medal, while Daniel Wedlake swam in the Boys 25m and came fourth in a personal best time.

Wales came second in the gala. Well done Cerys and Daniel - the Beavers are proud of you.
