Yob barrier

IN response to the letter ("Ban yobs," October 14) from John McKenzie, I am pleased to advise that the Vale of Glamorgan Council, working in partnership with the local developers, Barratt (South Wales), and the South Wales Police, are implementing changes to The Knap Terrace car park to address the anti-social behaviour problems.

The entrance will be re-modelled and gates/barriers installed to prevent unauthorised entry out of hours.

Works are due to commence very shortly on this scheme, and will be completed by the second week of November.

Keith Jones, Operational manager, Highway maintenance, Vale of Glamorgan Council.
