Eyesore

MY wife and moved from the Lake District in 2002 and purchased a property on the site of Butlins.

During the negotiations, we were assured that the remaining buildings were due for demolition in 2003, and a proposed University of Tourism was to be erected.

We are now in the closing months of 2004 and the buildings, which are a run-down, rat-infested eyesore, are still there.

When is there is going to be some change to this blot on the landscape?
