I AM sure we all shared the pain of the family of 62-year-old engineer Ken Bigley who was murdered in Iraq last week.

The sickening video footage lasting almost five minutes featuring Ken Bigley is now available on the internet - posted on an Islamic website. What this video and many others prove is that we are now up against a new type of extremist - that purports to be committing these terrible crimes on behalf of Islam, and wishes to hurt and harm as many people as possible.

However, Islamic society does not support these extremists. The war in Iraq has surely agitated extremism and we no longer live in the more secure world that existed prior to 9/11.

Tony Blair and his Labour government continually have blood on their hands as civilians or soldiers are killed in Iraq. Any supporter of the Labour party also has blood on their hands if they continues to support the present government.

We must withdraw from Iraq at the earliest opportunity, so that nobody else suffers the same terrible fate Ken Bigley.
