A real tree-t

We recently appealed to the Barry and District News with regard to a dispute we were having with the Vale of Glamorgan Council over a dangerous over-hang of trees on our property from Porthkerry Park.

On returning from holiday at the weekend, my wife and I were pleased to see that significant tree clearance has taken place on our boundary.

My son has informed me the work was done efficiently and quickly and we are grateful that it has at last been completed. Please pass on our thanks to the workmen involved.

The long-term stability of two remaining trees is still a slight concern but they do not appear to present any short-term risk.
