Insulting

THIS is the third successive by-election caused by the disqualification of a Labour councillor in just over three years.

Having caused this vacancy, Labour intended to cover up their incompetence and avoid a democratic election by using their majority on the council to get the same disqualified candidate back.

Since then they have blamed others for their own mistakes and wastage of money and opposed the principle of holding a democratic election which they caused through their negligence.

This insulting behaviour towards local residents also shows an arrogant contempt for democracy.

Thankfully, this by-election will give the people the opportunity to decide who represents them and not a room full of Labour councillors who could not care less about the residents they are supposed to serve.
