Street's on TV

BARRY residents living in Coronation Street can be forgiven for not being able to spot their new neighbours as seen on the adverts for a popular TV soap.

Sponsor Cadbury has filmed short scenes to be shown at the start of ITV1's Coronation Street.

In each, a couple filmed moving into a real Coronation Street somewhere in Britain is shown enjoying the programme while munching on Cadbury goodies.

Cadbury has been around the country and taken photographs of 70 different Coronation Streets, including Barry's. But because of Equity guidelines, actors have been used, rather than real residents.
