Cheque presented to hospice

A CHEQUE for £220 - raised through a special raffle at the annual Vale of Glamorgan sports personality awards evening held earlier this year - has been presented to the local Ty Hafan Children's Hospice.

The cheque was presented to Ty Hafan trust and research officer Paul Swayer by Vale of Glamorgan Mayor Cllr Emlyn Williams and Vale District Sports Council chairwoman Christine Lloyd, who commented: "The District Sports Council is delighted to support Ty Hafan in the fantastic job they do for children across South Wales."
