CD Review - Tom Jones and Jules Holland

WHEN you bring together two immensely talented individuals and tell them to make music, you're pretty much guaranteed to have a success. And Tom Jones' collaboration with Jools Holland is just the proof you need to give this theory credibility.

Their album, imaginatively named Tom Jones and Jools Holland is jam-packed with covers versions of old songs and original material penned for the collection.

Nineteen jazz and blues tracks swirled together with smooth vocals and technically perfect piano makes the whole effect very much worth the effort.

Both Jones and Holland have a multitude of experience between them and it shows in the polish and panache of each and every performance on the CD.

It must have been an electric atmosphere in the recording studio, and the end result is a toe-tapping, finger-snapping anthology bound to get you skipping.

A brilliant album from two outstanding artists. Go get it
