No show

AS a council house tenant, I find the comments made by Cllr Chris Franks in last weeks Barry & District News concerning future council housing investment are the height of hypocrisy.

If Cllr Franks was so concerned about council tenants why did he not turn up to any of the housing investment meetings held at the beginning of September? Not one of his eight Vale of Glamorgan Plaid Cymru councillors bothered to attend the first of these meetings and then only three (only after, I believe, being exposed by this newspaper) found the time to attend the other two meetings.

These meetings were held to decide the future investment in council housing for the next thirty years.

I just hope the council houses tenants in Dinas Powys remember to make Cllr Franks pay at the next elections.
