About time

SO, YES miracles do happen - even here in Barry. I refer to the work now being done at the derelict burnt out properties adjacent to Phoenix Amusements on Barry Island.

For years, these blackened ruins have been an eyesore to visitors coming onto the Island, but let's hope the miracles won't stop there, and that before the next tourist season starts at Easter 2005, work begins to turn the public conveniences above the eastern shelter and the remains of the "Majestic" Holiday Camp, into either a university facility or some other eye-catching development.
