A MOTHER-OF-THREE is worried her family will have nowhere to go if they are evicted from their Barry council house.
The 40-year-old has lived in Stratford Green for two years and claims she has suffered constant victimisation.
Jane Miller said: "I have been given an anti-social behaviour eviction order. It is my family that have had the problems so I do not understand why we are being evicted.
"We have had eggs thrown at our windows and our front window pane was smashed. Ever since we moved in there have been incidents. I have written down what has happened and when it took place as well as informing the police.
"On one occasion a youth was trying to get into my bedroom when he climbed onto the garage next to my home and started to open my window. I was in bed at the time. We have also had graffiti sprayed on the back gate."
She has health problems and cannot work. Her three children, Anthony, 16, Rhian, nine, and Lauren, seven, may have nowhere to live. The eviction notice is for Monday October 18.
She said: "If I am evicted I have been told that the Vale of Glamorgan Council do not have to find a new home for my family and I am extremely concerned we may not be able to find a new home."
She has been in touch with her MP John Smith, who has organised a visit by a council operative.
A Vale of Glamorgan Council spokesman said: "In investigating complaints regarding the behaviour of any tenant, the council will, where those complaints are substantiated, take appropriate action to enforce its tenancy conditions.
"Legal action is, of course, a final step in the process and would only be necessary when all other avenues have been exhausted."
