School gets top marks when the inspectors call

YSGOL Gymraeg y Gwaun y Nant is celebrating after a tremendously successful government inspection.

Head teacher Glenna Griffith is overjoyed with the achievements made by her staff and the pupils in the short time the school has been established. She said: "I am delighted with the inspectors' report which recognises the dedication of the staff and reflects on the achievements of the pupils.

"The report praised the pupils' behaviour and their ability to listen and concentrate in lessons."

Here are just a few of the school children pictured throughout the day, from classroom activities, through to their lunch and in play.
