On the ball

AS you see I live I Somerset but as often as I can I travel to Barry to watch Barry Town Football Club. Otherwise I depend on the Barry & District News for reports and information.

This morning I received this week's edition expecting to find a report of the match versus Swansea on Tuesday and perhaps some news of tonight's game versus Cardiff - but what did I find? Nothing!

I really do think that the self styled 'Barry's number one newspaper' ought to give its support to the number one football club of the area - relegated or not.

This is not the first time I have written to complain about the poor - yes, poor - coverage of Barry Town affairs but it doesn't seem to have had much effect.

I look forward to full reporting of matches and Barry Town affairs - new players, fixtures, etc in the future.
