Cat care

Cat care

MAY I, through your newspaper, thank The Barry Animal Health Centre, for the excellent treatment and care they have taken of my cat Mattie.

She was run over on Thursday, July 8, on Jenner Road, at 7.50am, by three minutes past eight she was in the oxygen chamber at the vets receiving treatment for shock and her horrific injuries.

The staff were as caring to me as they were to her.

Also, thank-you to the gentleman posting his letter on Tynewydd Road, who also took the time to stop and use his phone to help.

But to the motorist who hit her and drove away, please, before you drive make sure you are awake and aware. Thursday it was my cat, make sure it's not a child next time you are rushing somewhere.

If you have a conscience, I have a vet's bill.
