Delightful

HAVING seen Rhoose's Teisen Lap Tea Room' sign from the bus, I took my daughter and toddler granddaughter last Saturday lunchtime.

We could have sat in the pretty garden in the sunshine, but Charlie Kunz-style piano playing attracted us into the parlour where 'Reg' has all the old favourites at his fingertips.

The food was fresh, delicious and attractively served and we had a really friendly welcome. They have an excellent menu of hot and cold snacks and drinks, with sweets and cakes. Lower House Farm is immaculate but homely, and the farm atmosphere is delightful and interesting.

A baby and her young parents arrived shortly after us and were made equally welcome.

We loved it and do encourage others to go and sample its delights.
