D Day fun

ON behalf of my wife and myself I would like to extend my thanks to the Barry Arts Centre, Winston Road group for a most enjoyable evening on Tuesday, June 8.

Their production of NAAFI Nights to mark the 60th Anniversary of D Day was superb.

Especially I would like to thank all the children who took part; they sang beautifully and I was touched at the end of the evening to receive a kiss and a hand shake.

It was fun to have spam sandwiches and tea again and a jolly good night was had by all.
