Moving on

TO the people of Buttrills ward, Barry: The time has come for me to step down as your Labour councillor on Barry Town Council. I think a younger and healthier person than I should now take over.

I have enjoyed my time serving you, and I hope I have achieved some success. I was honoured to be the Mayor of Barry and to share that time with you.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for 13 years of support and friendship that you have given to me.
