Watch out

I should like to bring your attention to the state of the slipway at the Watchtower in the Old Harbour which has become damaged by high tides and waves whipped up by storm-force winds. It is now breaking up and is very dangerous.

Would it be possible to have it repaired before one of many visitors to the beach is injured by falling into the large holes that have appeared in it?

The Knap has changed over the past few years and not for the better, with Glan-y-Mor and Bindles being demolished and built on, the Waters Edge looking ready for the building of more apartment blocks.

The Knap Pool now has an electricity sub-station in its grounds ready for any future development. The Watchtower has been broken into and is being used by youngsters; it only requires a fire to start in there for us to lose another of the buildings which used to make up the unique character of Knap.
