Clean it up

I have recently returned from a trip to Florida, USA. I was there for three weeks and stayed with friends at their home on a nice estate in Orlando.

The area was magnificent with manicured lawns. Many of the property owners had dogs and it was not an uncommon sight to see them walking their dogs at least two or three times per day.

I was very surprised to see that the dog owners always carried a small plastic bag and small plastic spade to clean up whatever mess their pet had made.

What a difference compared to the people of Barry, the majority of whom allow their dogs to mess wherever they like with no concern for their fellow Barry citizens.

I have also just read in your paper that the council are giving free plastic bags for dog owners to use for dog mess removal. What else do the dog owners of Barry want? Maybe someone to pick up for them?
