Reunions

My name is Linda James, and, along with my friend, Sarah Sancho, have started a company called Occasionz and we specialise in organising school reunions and speed dating.

Sarah and myself decided that it would be a great fun idea to start organising school reunions for the South Wales area so that people could get together and enjoy a great night out with old friends.

We have noticed that lots of our friends talk about and would love to go to a school reunion, but nobody wants to organise it.

We thought we could help take the hassle out of organising these reunions and enjoy seeing people having fun.

There seems to be a lot of interest in attending school reunions and they are a great way to meet and catch up with old friends.

I have never attended a reunion, as I never seemed to see them advertised for my school.

A few months ago, I bumped into an old school friend who told me about a reunion that she had attended and I was very disappointed that I had missed it - no-one had known how to contact me.

It was then Sarah and I decided to start our business. We believe there are many more people out there who would love to attend a reunion and would be disappointed if they missed it.

At present we have organised four school reunions, for Cardiff, Cantonian, Whitchurch and Llanishen High Schools with many more to come, and four speed-dating events.
