What do you do when you're stuck in a traffic jam?

When stuck in traffic jams seven percent of drivers play 'I spy', eight percent read a book, 18 percent eat or drink and 85 percent listen to the radio.

Some motorists, however, have experienced the slightly bizarre side of British motoring: "I saw someone successfully change out of a skirt and into a pair of jeans while they were waiting at the traffic lights."

"We saw these hippies get up on the roof of their car and put on a dance display for everyone." "On holiday once we were stuck in a jam and the couple in front got out a picnic table and had their lunch. Then the traffic started moving and the bloke just got in and drove off, leaving his wife to clear up and chase him down the road - picnic table in hand."
