SULLY RFC took on a star-studded Bob Lakin XV in this year's Ty Hafan challenge.
The visitors' line-up included former British Lion Jeff Whitefoot plus ex-Welsh internationals Mike Rayer, Stuart Roy, Andy Booth, Hemi Taylor and Mark Bennett.
The Bob Lakin XV ran out 68-18 winners.
Hemi Taylor and Martin Best were both given man-of-the-match awards.
The event, in its fourth year, raised a total of £900 for Ty Hafan.
After-match entertainment was provided by an Elvis impersonator who is the cousin of Charlotte Church.
Ty Hafan is the only children's hospice in Wales. It provides respite and end-of-life care for children who suffer from conditions which mean that they will die before they reach adulthood.
Dominic Jenkins, chief executive of Ty Hafan, said: "We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Rob Lakin XV, Sully RFC and Sully Friends of Ty Hafan and wish them every success with their annual Ty Hafan challenge.
"Ty Hafan is dedicated to providing love, care and support for the whole family.
"We offer a listening ear and a helping hand. We offer friendship, a sense of community, a sharing in the care of the very sick child, expert respite and then support for the family as long as it is wanted."
Opened in January 1999 and built and equipped by public donations at a cost of £3 million a year, it costs more than £2 million every year to maintain this unique service which is free to all families.
