WOULD you please be able to make the following appeal for information for me.
I have a black cat, rescued some five years ago. At the age of about three months, he fell into a coma and almost died following renal failure. We were advised not to have him neutered as he would probably not survive the anaesthetic.
He has always spent time away from home, but has always returned, we have not seen him recently for a number of weeks; he has however returned home tonight, and we have discovered he has been neutered.
His right ear has also been sliced cleanly at the top, making him easily identifiable.
Clearly he is being cared for by another person; we do not have an issue with this, however we are very concerned as he is prone to kidney problems if he does not receive the correct diet. We would appreciate it if whoever is now caring for him (his name is Gizzy by the way) would contact us so that we can advise on his diet.
This is not an issue about ownership of Gizzy, but he will most certainly become very ill without the proper care, so please contact us on 07766203445.
